plz i want an effective way of disabling these two websites i.e messenger.yahoo.com and yahoomessenger.com becoz my sister spends lots of time chatting,i had tried disabling it using the internet options but it doesnt work,plz,is there any parental control that i can download for free?

yahoo messenger does not start at all?

i am having this problem for a long time, thats why i quited yahoo messenger, but now i have to use it. so here is the problem. i download the messenger from yahoo messenger site. install it. then when i click on the shortcut, nothing happens. i open the task bar, i see that the moment i clicked on the program file, the cpu usage goes up to 100% but then instantly decreases to normal level, but the program doesn’t start, and YahooMessenger.exe is not listed in the running programs. i tried to install-unistall the program couple of times, i tried versions 6-7-8. i even reformatted my harddrive and installed windows again. but nothing worked. I use a Dell 700m laptop, Win XP Pro SP2 operating system. all the help is appreciated.
Worm spreading via Yahoo Messenger
A worm is spreading via Yahoo Instant Messenger Thursday that tricks people into downloading what they think is a photo from a friend but is instead malware that installs a backdoor on Windows systems and spreads to a victim’s IM contacts. The worm arrives via a message from a contact with the word “photo” or “photos” and a smiley face icon, along with a link to a Web site resembling a Facebook page, MySpace page, or some other page where photos might reside. If the user clicks on the link on a Macintosh system, an executable file will be downloaded, but no further action will occur. On a Windows system, the executable will download and if the user runs the file, the computer will become infected and the malicious message will be distributed to all of the IM contacts. “Once run, the worm copies itself to %WinDir%\infocard.exe, then it adds itself to the Windows Firewall List,” modifies registry keys, and stops the Windows Updates service, according to Symantec.
